It is very important to us that you have the best possible experience at Bob from start to finish. Below you will find all the information you need regarding making a booking at Bob, our policies and general information to help make your visit as smooth as possible. Making a Booking
You can make a booking with us either via our website booking tool, over the phone or in salon. All booking requests are reviewed before they are confirmed to ensure that the correct amount of time has been allocated in our schedule and that we have a clear understanding of what you are wanting. For this reason you may receive a call from one of our team members to confirm your booking request.
No-shows and last minute cancellations enormously disadvantage both our business and other clients. They mean that clients on our wait list cannot book those time slots with us and miss out. Our expert stylists dedicate their time specifically to look after you, and we ask that you respect this.
A 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE ALL BOOKINGS.
If you do not wish to pay a booking fee you are more than welcome to try your luck on the day or via our wait list – but please know that we are unable to allocate a specific stylist or time slot for you in advance.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and we will continue to try to keep things fair for all of our guests.
Cancellation Policy
We require a 50% deposit for your booking, as your appointment is important to us and is reserved only for you.
We understand that sometimes you may need to change your booking. We respectfully require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations and rescheduling. Less than 48 hours notice will result in your deposit being forfeited.
Any same-day cancellations or reschedules will result in 100% of the appointment cost being charged.
We can not accept voice messages left on Sundays or public holidays as sufficient notice, as we will not have enough time to re-book your time slot. Please email us at info@bobmelbourne.com.au during those days.
Running Late?
While we ask that our clients aim to arrive to the salon on time for their appointment, we understand that sometimes there is nothing you can do about being a few minutes late. Likewise, while we aim to see you on time, things can get busy in the salon, too.
We want coming to the salon to be a relaxing experience, so your appointment will be held until 20 minutes after the scheduled time before we reschedule. When it’s us running a few minutes behind, we ask that you are equally understanding.
Parking
Parking in South Yarra can be difficult - we ask that you please allow enough time to find a spot and arrive at your appointment on time.
Parking options available:
CUNNINGHAM ST - One hour parking out the front of the salon.
OXFORD ST - Two hour parking in the side street adjacent to Cunningham.
JAM FACTORY - Paid parking off Chapel St. $2 per hour. 7min stroll to the salon.
Time Expectations
Good hair takes time - sometimes that will require you being in the salon for periods of 3-4 hours. If you have another appointment or commitment to attend after your hair, please let a staff member know upon booking.
We will do our best to accomodate your schedule without compromising the quality of our work.
Fringe Trims
If your fringe needs a dose of TLC between appointments, we are happy to offer a courtesy fringe trim within eight weeks of your previous Bob appointment.
Fringe trims cannot be scheduled using the online booking service.
Referral Program
