Charlotte is the Founder and Director of Bob Hair Co., which she launched in 2017 to bring natural, organic, and ethical hair care to a wider audience. Originally from New Zealand, Charlotte is a trained hairstylist who has worked in some of the best salons abroad, gaining experience in editorial, television, and fashion while honing her craft.

Today, Charlotte oversees every aspect of the business, from operations to leading and nurturing the team. She expertly balances her professional life with raising two daughters, ensuring the salon continues to be a welcoming and innovative space for clients and the team alike.

Charlotte specialises in creating low-maintenance colours that enhance each client’s natural tones, aiming for an effortless look that complements unique features, skin tone, and lifestyle. Her shades are designed to grow out seamlessly and require minimal upkeep.

Her expertise in precision cutting, especially with curls, makes her a go-to for clients seeking styles that work with their natural texture. She has a passion for working with wavy and curly hair, skilfully shaping and defining each client’s unique curl pattern to bring out its best, celebrating the natural movement and texture of each person’s hair.

Raff | Style Director 

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Raff began her hairdressing journey at 16 and has spent 18 years honing her craft in the industry, including a memorable stint at one of London’s top salons. Over the years, she has developed a deep passion for precision cutting and colour that complements each client’s natural beauty. Since joining Bob Hair five years ago, Raff has had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team and building a loyal and diverse clientele. She specializes in sharp bobs, seamless long cuts, and expertly tailored bangs, always ensuring the style enhances natural features and suits individual lifestyles.

Colour is another area Raff truly excels in. From lived-in blondes to sun-kissed brunettes, she focuses on natural shades that grow out beautifully and require minimal upkeep. Her goal is to create styles that feel effortless yet look flawless — no matter the hair type or texture.

Raff’s passion for the details is evident in everything she does — from ensuring clients are comfortable in the chair to creating personalized home care plans that help maintain their look long after leaving the salon. Sarah | Creative Director

As the Creative Director at Bob, Sarah brings her passion for hairdressing to life every day. Her journey started in the countryside before leading her to Melbourne, where she has had the privilege of styling for some of Australia’s most iconic events — from the glamour of the Brownlows and Logies to the Melbourne Cup and Melbourne Fashion Festival.

Colour is where Sarah’s heart truly lies. She specializes in creating vibrant, lived-in blondes, rich brunettes, and stunning shades of copper, with a special love for cowboy copper — a warm, earthy hue that adds a beautiful, unmistakable glow. She focuses on natural yet radiant hues that enhance each client’s unique features.

When it comes to cuts, Sarah has a true passion for the European Bob. Whether clients are after a sharp, bold line or a softer, more understated style, she tailors every cut to reflect individuality and lifestyle. For Sarah, hairdressing is more than just creating a great look; it’s about capturing each person’s essence and empowering them to shine with confidence.

Meara | Senior Stylist 

Originally from New Zealand, Meara made Melbourne her home a few years ago to pursue her passion for hair and embrace new adventures. She specializes in creating beautiful, soft, natural colours — especially blondes that shine with a lived-in, effortless glow. Meara is all about crafting styles that feel organic and authentic — whether it’s a sun-kissed blonde or a rich brunette with natural depth.

One of Meara’s greatest strengths is working with cuts that add movement and life to the hair. From classic bobs and flowing longer layers to shaggier styles for that carefree vibe, each cut is tailored to reflect her clients’ unique styles, adding texture and shape that enhances their features.

Meara is also passionate about men’s cutting, delivering sharp, tailored looks that bring out each client’s style. Additionally, she loves creating polished, bouncy blow waves for the perfect finish to any look. Her goal is to create styles that highlight natural beauty and fit seamlessly into each client’s lifestyle. Chloe | Emerging Stylist

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Chloe moved to Melbourne a year ago to pursue her passion for hair and challenge herself to refine her craft in a dynamic, diverse environment. As an emerging stylist at Bob, Chloe is fortunate to work alongside an incredible team, constantly learning new techniques and perspectives while interacting with a wide range of clients.

The styling process is where Chloe truly shines — there’s something special about finishing a look and seeing how it all comes together. Lived-in blondes are her specialty, but she takes pride in creating styles that are both personalized and empowering. Her goal is to help clients achieve looks that enhance their natural beauty and suit their lifestyle.

Renee is the Salon Manager at Bob Hair Co., where she expertly oversees the salon’s daily operations and plays a key role in shaping the overall business strategy. With a diverse background that includes experience as a hairstylist in salons, as well as leadership roles in corporate event management, and work with nonprofit organizations around the globe, Renee brings a unique skill set to her role. She is creative at heart, with a deep love for everything Bob and her keen attention to detail is evident in everything she does. Renee thrives on working directly with the team and clients, bringing her expertise to every aspect of salon operations while ensuring that behind-the-scenes processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Originally from Melbourne and now living in the beautiful Yarra Valley with her husband and two sons, Renee loves that Bob Hair is located in the vibrant and picturesque South Yarra. She’s passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment for both the team and clients.
